Join us for a health lecture with board certified Interventional Pulmonologist Shiqian Li, MD from USC Arcadia Hospital. Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) refers to a group of diseases that cause airflow blockage and breathing-related problems. COPD is usually caused by cigarette smoking, though long-term exposure to other lung irritants, like secondhand smoke, can also contribute to COPD. Dr. Li will discuss how smoking is related to COPD, how it can be prevented, and how it can be treated.
